Trainee Backend & Data Engineering

Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure and microservices that power our feedback analytics platform.
• Contribute to the setup and optimization of data flows and interactions with high-performance databases like ClickHouse.
• Learn to implement and optimize API endpoints for efficient data handling within our application services.
• Participate actively in the full development lifecycle, from writing clean, maintainable code to contributing to testing practices and deployment support.
• Work closely with experienced engineers, taking part in code reviews and technical discussions to deepen your understanding.
• Continuously develop your technical skills and knowledge through structured training programs, dedicated mentorship, and hands-on project assignments.
• Actively seek out opportunities to learn and grow within the company, leveraging internal resources and project assignments to accelerate your career.

Qualifications:

• ecent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Strong foundational programming skills in Python.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts, ideally with some exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• A strong interest in learning about backend development, microservices architecture, and high-performance databases (e.g., ClickHouse).
• Eagerness to learn about Large Language Models (LLMs), AI, and their integration into real-world applications.
• Basic understanding of API concepts (e.g., RESTful).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical aptitude.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• German language proficiency at a minimum B2 level.
