Senior Backend Engineer & Architect

‍Responsibilities:

• Lead Technical Direction: Drive the development of robust backend systems and APIs, ensuring performance, scalability, and security within our cloud-first environment.
• Establish Architecture Principles: Collaborate with the CTO to craft sound architectural blueprints that align with business needs and promote long-term growth.
• Code & Contribute: Roll up your sleeves and write top-quality code, demonstrate best practices, and guide the team through complex challenges.
• Mentorship Focus: Elevate the skills of junior engineers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and setting inspiring examples of engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
  • 5+ years of hands-on backend software engineering experience
  • Experience in cloud first environments (GCP preferred) and data-driven/AI product realm
  • Experience in agile developing practices
  • Proven track record in building complex SaaS or cloud-based solutions.
  • Demonstrable experience in architectural design and decision-making.
• Highly Desirable:
  • Full-stack development experience.
  • Leadership or mentorship roles within a team setting.
