Lead Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of data scientists in the development and deployment of NLP and other ML models
• Work with product managers and engineers to understand business needs and identify opportunities to apply NLP
• Design, develop, and evaluate NLP models for a variety of tasks, such as text classification, sentiment analysis, question answering, and machine translation
• Interact with engineering to deploy NLP models to production and monitor their performance
• Stay up-to-date on the latest NLP research and best practices
• Collaborate with other teams within the company to share knowledge and expertise

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, NLP, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in developing and deploying ML abd NLP models
• Strong understanding of NLP fundamentals, including machine learning, text processing, and deep learning
• Experience with leading and managing a team of data scientists
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data processing frameworks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in German

• Experience with developing and deploying NLP models in production
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
• Experience with open source NLP libraries and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face)
